Fax Forwarding and Fax receive impossible error
- Log into the printer interface with “admin”, select “System Settings”, then choose “Image Send Settings”
- Click on “Inbound routing settings”
- Scroll down and click “Add”
- For the table name, you can put whatever you want. In this example, we are going to put “1” and configure the rest as below pictures.
- Now we are going to click on “Add (Direct Entry)” to configure forwarding.
- Scroll down to enter the mailbox email address. In this case, we put finchfax@lumenus.ca. Then “Add to List” and click “OK”
- Then we need to “Enable” this inbound routing rule as below. Scroll down and click “Submit”
- Sometimes we may get “Receive Impossible” as below
Therefore, we need to go to “System Settings” > “Image Send Settings” > “Fax Settings” and under “Condition Settings” uncheck “ECM”
